Place History:
Opening in 1993, the Bay View Public Library was very modern for its time period. Utilizing large windows in its architecture, the building was built to have an open, inviting atmosphere. Not only did the library house a plethora of books on a great many subjects, but it also had a large meeting room used for various public meetings.

After the Apocalypse, libraries were largely ignored, except in the few occasions books were used as a heating tool. The books about wilderness survival and outdoors activities have long since been looted. Most of the art books have mysteriously vanished as well. Otherwise, the building contains the same contents as it did before. The computers are still hooked up to the wires that the internet used to run through. Various books still line the shelves. The movie collection has largely been untouched. However, the glass that once made for an accommodating atmosphere have been shattered, and now shards covers the ground throughout most of the building. Are still useful books, maps, or even a working internet connection, to be found here? Unlikely, but anything's possible with enough searching.

No inhabitants save for the occasional traveler spending the night. Rumors exist that someone, or someones, frequent the building, albeit for reasons unknown.
